Akala ko it was going to be a very relaxed atmosphere in class verging on the “nakakatamad” mood because it was already 6pm pero not all the students are present… tapos bigla na lang may narinig kaming alarm…. Sympre, the ever uzizera that I am eh lumabas ako para maki-usyoso! To my surprise, the students, as well as the teacher, in the other class were panicking… they were busy gathering up their things at nagmamadaling lumabas… kaya when I went back inside and the teacher asked me what was happening, I just replied “I don’t know but the other students are already panicking.”
Kaya ayun… ang mga tatamad tamad na students eh biglang nagka- adrenaline rush… everybody was busy getting their stuff and the bags of our other classmates who went down to the library… at sympre since it was an emergency situation, we were not allowed to used the elevator… isip-isip ko pa na ok lang yun kasi pababa naman kami eh… walang ka –effort effort yan!!!!! Di ko naisip na it would take us a very long time to go down kasi nasa 17th floor kami…. Nag-sync in lang lahat yan sa akin when we were already in the 10th floor at medyo pinapawisan na ako… Aba! Mahirap pala bumababa ng hagdan… tapos dagdagan mo pa ng pagka-panic kasi di mo alam kung bakit nag alarm… is the building on fire… may bomb threat ba???? Super kaka-praning!!!! Buti na lang at nakisama ang mga other students at di sila nagmamadaling bumaba ng stairs… kaya kahit na medyo tense yung situation eh the students were quite calm about the whole thing…
Kaya ayun ang mga lasalista… mapa-matanda man o bata… teacher o estudyante… seryosong-seryoso sa pagbaba ng hagdan…. Trying their very best to stay calm until they reach the ground floor and I guess silently praying that nothing bad is happening.. yung iba... pa-joke joke pa na false alarm lang at pwede ng bumalik ng classrooms pero kelangan stairs din ang gamitin pabalik sa itaas (aku yun!!!)… …. so after the longest 7 minutes of my life at mga 500 grams of sweat… eh finally… nasa ground floor na kami… bigla namang umeksena etong si mamang security guard… sabi niya pwede na daw bumalik sa mga classrooms kasi false alarm lang… at ang salarin… isang custodian na nagspray ng BAYGON malapit sa smoke detector sa loob ng CR!!!!
Pesteng mga lamok talaga yang mga yan… rason ng nga ng dengue eh ngayon rason pa sya ng paglaki lalo ng mga pata ko!!!
